The Animalia exhibition was wildly popular in 2022 so we’re bringing it back!

Artists are invited to register for this show that welcomes wide interpretations about animals – real and imagined.

Registration & Payment Options:

1. Register using the Google Form here. Then follow up with any of these payment options:
   a) Phone with credit card 250.746.1633;
   b) E-transfer to gallery@cowichanvalleyartscouncil.ca – be sure to state “Animalia registration” in the note;
   c) Register & pay in person at the CVAC galleries in the Community Centre 2687 James St. Duncan.
2. Download, print & complete the registration form available here. Scan & email it to us. Then follow up with payment by phone, e-transfer or in person (as above).
3. Hard copy, printed forms are also available in the Gallery.

Registration is confirmed once payment is received. You’ll receive a confirmation email.

Fee: $30 per piece. You may submit up to 3 pieces.

New this year – This Member show will be two months long – twice as long as usual! You must member in good standing of the Cowichan Valley Arts Council to participate.

Maximum Dimensions
Width: 48” or 1.2 metres, including frame, full width of triptychs, diptychs etc.
Height: 60” or 1.5 metres
Area: 2,880 square inches or 18,581 square centimetres
Sculptures & 3D: Tall items that sit on the floor, maximum floor space of 30” X 30” and must stand securely. We have a variety of plinth sizes – if your sculpture has a footprint of more than 18”X18”, or if you have any questions at all, please call 250.746.1633
