CVAC En plein air

We invite you to participate in a series of outings to a few special and inspiring locations in the Cowichan Valley this summer.

For our first En plein air event of the season, join us for a Summer morning at the beautiful site of O.U.R.Ecovillage in Shawnigan Lake.

O.U.R. Ecovillage is a learning centre and demonstration site for Permaculture featuring the Zero Mile Eatery , a kitchen garden and farm as well as living and guest spaces. There is much to see and choose from for your art project:

• Views of Farm and Gardens
• Farm Animals: chickens , sheep and a couple of friendly dogs
• People at work in gardens
• Natural Buildings built with Cob and Straw Bale
• Forest walk and ponds

Following a short orientation and introduction you will work en plein air on our projects until 12:30 and gather for a delicious farm to plate lunch (included).

So pack your supplies, bring your water bottle and snack and pick your favourite subject(s) .
