Cedar: A Celebration

Cedar trees are beloved as the aromatic giants of West Coast forests, playing an integral role in the cultural and artistic life of First Nations. The Cowichan Valley Arts Council (CVAC) is planning an art show celebrating the cedar.
Reception – Fri. Oct. 20: Meet & speak with artists at the Reception Fri. Oct. 20, 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
Cedar Contemplations Sat. Oct. 21: Noon – 2:30 pm
Contemplating cedar traditions, meaning, stewardship & more. With Guest Speakers Rob MacLean and Hwiemtun (Fred Roland).
