The BC Islands chapter of the national organization Canadian Bookbinders and Artists’ Guild (CBBAG) presents a book art exhibition entitled Off the Wall: Redefining the Map.  As the theme, the word map can mean the visual representation of an area, whether real or imaginary. Maps and cartographic strategies are the inspiration for members’ personal investigations within their respective fields in the book arts: artists’ books, box making, calligraphy, fine binding, letterpress printing, marbling, paper decorating, restoration, and more.  Participants in the show are Sarah Belanger, Susan Duffield, Martina Edmondson, Trisha Klus, Rebecca Villa-Arce, Michael Lines, Stuart Itso, Rudy Desjardins, Joan Byers, Mary Conley and Andrea Spalding.
