About the Cowichan Valley Fine Arts Show
The Cowichan Valley Fine Art Show is the largest open, non-juried, art show on the Island and features work by emerging and renowned artists including painting and sculpture, jewelry design, furniture, photography and more. It has been organized annually since 1971 by CVAC.
What is an open art show?
An open art show accepts every entry. Although it is an open show, when we run out of room, that’s it. We had 140 artists participate last year. Only one piece per artist. The judges choose the award winners after the show is hung.
