New this Year: Two Becomes Three
Eleven CVAC artists participated in a 3-day workshop/sharing event, in which they played with the concept of making three-dimensional TTaW art pieces using their two-dimensional skills!
This year, 11 large pieces (9 paintings, one sculpture, and one fabric art) are included as staging for the Teeny Tiny Artworks show. Accompanying each of these works are two or three teeny tiny pieces that reflect the imagery of the larger piece. Many are interactive, letting viewers touch and move these pieces around.
This new addition promotes juxtaposing “large” with “tiny” and challenging traditionally two-dimensional artists to consider working in three dimensions.
