Experience the joy of watercolour painting with this hands-on watercolour workshop! Suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike, this session will guide you step-by-step toward painting a beautiful garland of flowers and leaves. Beginning with a series of practice pieces, you’ll learn essential watercolour techniques, including:
- Paint on dry for crisp, defined shapes
- Brush stroke mastery to create delicate petals and foliage
- Layering and sequence to achieve vibrant and dimensional effects
By the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a completed floral garland painting , along with new skills to inspire your artistic journey. All materials provided—just bring your enthusiasm!

Marcia Aftimus is an artist from Brazil. She recently moved to the Cowichan Valley. She creates meditative paintings to help people discover their potential and strengths.
