Participants will be taught how to paint realistic looking wetland landscapes on cotton with fabric paints. They will then add to these with mark making using an old credit card and brush. The fabric will then be placed either side of 4 precut Pellon sheets to form the pages. The structure is completed by sewing the edges and hinge lines on the fabric. This can be done by sewing machine, hand stitch or even glue if you have a very steady hand. All materials will be provided. For adults 16 years and over.
The instructor is Gill Riordan, a skilled fabric artist who developed distance learning initiatives for embroidery guilds in the UK.
