What You Need to Know Before Entry

• Be a CVAC member in good standing
• Be at least 16 years of age
• You must be submitting your own original work
• The work must be for sale.
• Must be culturally appropriate as CVAC acknowledges and respects the cultural rights of our First Nations.
• 160 entries based on a first come first served basis.
• Entry fee is $15
• Purchases are subject to a 15% CVAC commission charge.
• A 3% processing fee will be applied to single electronic purchases over $300 (Visa, MC, Debit).
• Photo of your piece saved as a .jpg or .png file minimum of 600 pixels wide. If submitting by phone, chose Medium. Save photo as Artist Last Name, First Name and Title of Piece e.g. Smith_John_MyFabulousPainting
• The CVAC will watermark your photo with CVFAS to prevent copying
• Video of your studio or why you created this piece – (optional)
• NOTE: Video and/or Photo may be uploaded after registration anytime prior to April 27th.
• 75 word artist statement about your piece
• The following awards will be selected by three judges: Best in Show (1), Award of Excellence (5), Honourable Mention (10)
• The People’s Choice Award will be chosen by on-line votes
• You will need your CVAC Membership user email & password to log in to your account to register.
• If you have forgotten your password simple click ‘Sign in to Select’  and choose the ‘Need a password?’ option – a new password will be emailed to you.
