Five years since I moved to BC, my work has changed to a more intuitive style that expresses the moment, conceptually and visually with a range of painting techniques. This approach has more scope for creative adventures reflecting my encounters in nature, walking, hiking and spending time watching trees, birds and ocean movements. Sometimes whimsy comes out of hiding to surprise me. Other times it is the weight of the news.
