Olga Sims is the daughter of the artist’s friend who asked him if her daughter can sit for him to gain experience as a model. Ed lives in Victoria, British Columbia and paints the places and faces of Southern Vancouver Island and conducts workshops in portraits, watercolours and calligraphy. His paintings are in many galleries around Vancouver Island and Ontario.
