This painting was inspired by a deep calling for truth in a world so contradictory. As an artist, I truly enjoy pulling more focus onto my subject. I do this by creating higher detail within the foreground and really working to soften all subject matter in the background. Wolves are highly relatable to many. Be it the heightened intelligence, instinctual strength, lone wolf philosophy or even the pack mentality. It is a true pleasure to share the earth with such beautiful and admirable creatures. “Call to Truth” is finished with a satin varnish to really bring the feeling of life into a room.
