Inspiration: Honouring Volunteers & Instructors

The Inspiration Exhibition honours the work CVAC Instructors and Volunteers do in bringing art into everyone’s lives, inspiring joy, friendship, confidence, deep thought, connection and more. You inspire us all. Thus, the exhibition Inspiration: Honouring Volunteers & Instructors. 

Due to the contributions of Volunteers & Instructors, our community enjoys more than 25 exhibitions per year and participants of all ages and skill levels take part in dozens of workshops and camps. Volunteers contribute more than 3000 hours of service annually. And Instructions give their all which is why children, families & artists continually register & re-register for CVAC’s arts programming.

Registration open until capacity reached. Registration is open to CVAC volunteers & instructors active over the past 18 months. One piece per artist. Submission is free using form below.

Conditions of entry*
I agree: That the piece(s) I submitted is my original work, that is my idea, composition and image. The work is culturally appropriate in its content with images that I am authorized to use. CVAC reserves the right to disallow entries that are deemed offensive, or promote hate. Eligibility of any artwork is up to the discretion of CVAC. All artworks are framed or suitably prepared for hanging per the CVAC website instructions. CVAC has the right to display the submissions online. To pay the Cowichan Valley Arts Council 20% commission on the sale of my work. That I am a member in good standing of CVAC. That I have been an active volunteer with CVAC, or an instructor for a CVAC workshop within the past 18 months.
