About the class:
Visual art is all about observation, movement, and interpretation. This after school art class will focus primarily on activities that will engage the children in their observations of the world around them. We will practice various techniques and skills building exercises which will break the mould of what it means to be an artist. Movement, discussions, and short fun drawing/painting and collage activities will punctuate the hour and build on one another, to encourage experimentation and playfulness in art making.
